With 17 different sports and more than 80 teams, all students in sixth through twelfth grade have the opportunity to participate in Berkeley interscholastic athletics. 有一些运动, particularly at the JV and Varsity levels in Upper Division that have limited roster size. The majority of our Middle Division sports have multiple teams, so there is a roster spot available for each student who wants to participate. Rosters for Middle Division teams are generally based on skill level and not grade level. Middle Division is a great opportunity to give a new sport a try!

Berkeley teams compete against public and 独立的 schools as a member of the 佛罗里达 High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). In Middle and Upper Division, we have close to an 80% participation rate, and we encourage multi-sport participation.

Berkeley offers a wide range of sports teams that are specific to Middle Division (MD). MD teams practice or compete every weekday in season and have occasional Saturday contests. The sports offered to MD students are: basketball, 足球, 啦啦队, 越野, 足球, 田径, 棒球, 垒球, 长曲棍球, 摔跤和网球. Middle and Upper Division students compete together as Varsity Swimming & 潜水. For the sport of golf, MD students are welcome to try out for the Varsity roster.

There is no fee to participate in FHSAA-sanctioned athletics at Berkeley in Middle and Upper Division. 然而, many of our teams require certain apparel and/or equipment. If so, these items will be available via a Team Pack purchase that is coordinated with the 宝湾精灵店. The exceptions to the fee are two non-FHSAA sports: rowing and hockey. There is a fee associated with rowing for their club fall season and spring competition season, and the hockey team’s fees are determined by the league.

Students interested in fall sports should reach out to the Head Coach of the team that interests them over the summer. For winter and spring sports, there will be announcements made during Middle and Upper Division Convocations that will allow the students to sign up at that time. At any point throughout the year, students are welcome to reach out to get more information about a team by contacting the Athletic Department or emailing a Head Coach directly.

Only students who are registered students at Berkeley may participate on our teams.

We do not charge a spectator entry fee for regular season contests. 然而, we will charge for all post-season contests and possibly tournaments or meets that we host throughout the year.

Berkeley is a cashless school. We can accept only credit/debit cards and ApplePay and GooglePay for spectator fees (when charged) and concessions.
